   I am Jas'min Shy Coates and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of Union Elementary School. My goal is to make school the best part of a child's day... EVERYDAY! My professional training is from Wesleyan College (undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education), as well as Grand Canyon University (master's degree in Educational Technology and specialist in Organizational Leadership). I have served in the Bibb County School District for 17+ years as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. Within each of those roles I participated in and led several professional learning communities. I look forward to leading the STARS of Union Elementary and building positive relationships with the stakeholders that support our amazing school.
